The Red Devils were twice booed off at Old Trafford on Saturday evening as they conceded a late equaliser against 10-man Spurs to take their winless run to four games in all competitions. But there seems to be a lack of fight from the team‚ according to Neville‚ with fans already questioning the side's desire to run after Youri Tielemans said they didn't do much work in that area of the game over pre-season. Coupled with United's poor running numbers so far this season‚ and there are serious questions around the team's play - and Neville has once again taken aim.

Ryan Giggs has revealed Elliot Anderson told him 'leave me alone' after the Manchester United legend attempted to convince him to join the club this summer. Daily Mail Sport reported last year that Anderson had been Man United's top midfield target for the summer transfer window‚ but had trailed rivals Man City in the race. Man City would ultimately land Anderson for £116million in the summer‚ with Man United going on to sign Youri Tielemans‚ Carlos Baleba and Andrey Santos in their midfield overhaul.

Emi Martinez is poised to join Chelsea from Aston Villa for £7.5million - the fourth deal involving the clubs this summer. The Argentina goalkeeper has been surplus to requirements at Villa Park since the club signed Zion Suzuki from Parma earlier this month. It means Martinez‚ Lucas Digne‚ Ollie Watkins and Youri Tielemans should all have left by the end of the transfer window - and they were four of Villa's highest earners.

TOM COLLOMOSSE IN SALZBURG: The UEFA Super Cup belongs to Paris Saint-Germain but Aston Villa left Salzburg with something far more precious than a piece of pre-season silverware. Between them‚ teenagers Brian Madjo and George Hemmings have made just six competitive appearances for Villa. Yet both frightened the life out of the back-to-back Champions League winners and on this evidence‚ they will be given plenty more opportunities by Unai Emery. They may have sold £150million worth of talent in Morgan Rogers‚ Youri Tielemans and Lucas Digne since winning the Europa League and have doubts over the future of other key players. There is nothing quite like teenagers stepping up to the mark‚ though‚ and their performances will give Villa plenty of encouragement ahead of their Premier League opener at Brighton on August 23.

NATHAN SALT IN DUBLIN: Tielemans cannot stop smiling as he sits down to chat inside United's five-star team base for this week's training camp in Ireland. There is plenty on the agenda: his first phone call with Carrick‚ his 'really natural' link-up with Bruno Fernandes‚ and also an insight into the role he expects to play for United this season.
