Gary Neville and Roy Keane have highlighted England's wingers as a major problem at the World Cup amid continued concerns over Bukayo Saka's fitness‚ as they predicted where the Three Lions could be knocked out. Saka has been having a persistent Achilles problem managed by the FA‚ after playing through pain during the run-in for Arsenal at the end of last season. England boss Thomas Tuchel had admitted earlier this month that Saka had been unable to train on consecutive days.
The match in New Jersey ‚ which finished 2-0 thanks in large part to Jude Bellingham's goal and assist for Harry Kane in an improved second half‚ was painfully familiar for England so far at this tournament. Boss Thomas Tuchel cut an angry figure on the sidelines‚ barking orders at Kane just three minutes in‚ and honing in on Rashford and Saka during the first hydration break. For former England striker Shearer there was plenty that was going wrong in the opening 45 minutes but it was Rashford and Saka‚ two of the changes Tuchel made to the starting line-up after the 0-0 draw with Ghana‚ that were the focus of his attention.
CRAIG HOPE: Bukayo Saka has missed England training ahead of Tuesday's game against Ghana‚ raising further doubt over his fitness. However‚ Marcus Rashford did train with the group in Kansas City after concerns over a niggle coming out of the midweek win over Croatia. Saka was working on his own individual programme on Saturday‚ as he continues to feel the effects of an Achilles injury. He will not be ready to start versus Ghana in Boston.

England have been in the States for over a week now‚ training ahead of their first match of the tournament on June 17 against Croatia. The whole group is now together after the four Arsenal players - Bukayo Saka‚ Declan Rice‚ Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke - were afforded extra time off after the Champions League final‚ with the 26-man squad locked in and ready to go. There was debate when Tuchel named his squad around the likes of Phil Foden and Cole Palmer being left out‚ and Terry has now chimed in too. And‚ speaking on Sports Uncensored ‚ he suggested at least 11 of the 26-man squad should not be featuring if England want to be successful this summer.
SAKA'S BIG SCREEN SIREN: Bukayo Saka's jaw-dropping fiancee wows at Arsenal star's documentary debut
OLIVER HOLT AT THE EMIRATES: And then there was one. Just one more obstacle for Arsenal. Just one more ordeal. Just one more river to cross. Crystal Palace await in south London on Sunday afternoon and if Arsenal win there‚ the Premier League title will be theirs. It does not matter what Manchester City do against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday evening. It does not matter what they do against Aston Villa on Sunday at the Etihad. If Arsenal hold their nerve one last time at Selhurst Park‚ the title will be theirs. They only scraped past relegated Burnley at the Emirates. They crawled over the line courtesy of a majestic first half header from Kai Havertz from a Bukayo Saka corner. Maybe some will call them Set Piece FC again but they will not care about that.
