Jadon Sancho has been waiting out a decision over his future training at a non-league ground‚ the club has confirmed. Manchester United's former £73million man departed Old Trafford this summer as a free agent after a checkered five-year stint. But as he ponders his next move‚ Sancho opted for an unorthodox venue to keep fit - 10th-tier side Flixton FC‚ with the 26-year-old visiting and then training at their 2‚000 Valley Ground.
A non-league goalkeeper was caught on camera appearing to punch a rival fan during a match on Friday before being escorted off the pitch. Joe Wright‚ playing in goal for Enfield Town in their National League South game against Chelmsford City‚ was seen turning around to the rival supporters standing directly behind him. The 29-year-old was gathering the ball to take a goal kick before abruptly changing direction and 'throwing a punch' with his right hand in the direction of a fan.
