ANALYSIS BY KIERAN GILL AT STAMFORD BRIDGE: An hour or so before kick-off‚ there was a fox on the loose inside Stamford Bridge‚ running in between the rows of seats in the East Stand. You did wonder whether Chelsea might need one of those in the box‚ given Enzo Maresca's starting line-up showed how he had zero strikers on the pitch. For the first time in Champions League history‚ three teenagers scored for a side in a single game. That was Marc Guiu‚ Estevao Willian and Tyrique George. To make matters even more ludicrous‚ Chelsea's youngest scorer in this competition's history was Reece James‚ who was 19 years and 332 days of age when he scored in a 4-4 draw with Ajax in November 2019. Guiu‚ Estevao and George are all even younger than James was that night. Each could have had the record for himself therefore had only one of them scored. As all three did‚ Estevao sneaked it at the age of 18 years and 181 days‚ with Guiu and George both 19 and change.
