EXCLUSIVE: Pastore on living through PSG's rise‚ Messi and being Enzo Fernandez's agent

The Blues previously set City a deadline of 5pm on August 13 to pay £120m to get the deal done - a deadline City did not meet. But contact has continued with his agent Javier Pastore so City know the 25-year-old is open to coming and now they are set to come back in for the midfielder‚ who played the final half-hour of Chelsea's 3-2 win over Fulham on Monday night.

Real Madrid have released a statement insisting they will not be pursuing a £120million transfer of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea and have not been in talks to acquire the 25-year-old Argentinian. It followed Fernandez's agent‚ Javier Pastore‚ yet again speaking up this week about how his client is considering leaving Stamford Bridge while bigging up a move to the Bernabeu. Daily Mail Sport reported in recent days how Chelsea had not yet been contacted by Real to open formal talks centred on doing a deal for Fernandez‚ despite claims to the contrary.

Speculation has long surrounded Fernandez's future ever since his agent‚ Javier Pastore‚ publicly admitted they would explore their options this summer if no new contract was forthcoming from Chelsea.
