The 30-year-old‚ who is still technically contracted to United but on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor‚ was playing in his side's European game against Kuopion Palloseura of Finland. His side started well‚ with former Southampton forward Paul Onuachu putting them ahead in the third minute of the game as Thomas Reis' side looked to start the competition on a positive note. Then‚ in the 44th minute‚ Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah‚ who moved to Turkey in the summer after leaving the Reds‚ made it 2-0 with a fine finish to pick up his eighth goal of the season in ten games.
