Former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll has opened up on how his high salary during his two years on Merseyside led to his life spiralling out of control. Carroll‚ 37‚ became the Reds' record signing when he joined for £35million in January 2011 from Newcastle‚ making 58 appearances and scoring 11 goals for the club across two seasons. The striker‚ who currently plays for Dagenham and Redbridge in the National League South - a club he co-owns with YouTuber KSI - has looked back on his troubling spell at Anfield in his new book‚ Owning It.
