Alejandro Garnacho has been convicted of speeding away from Manchester United's training ground‚ just days before his £40m move to Chelsea. Garnacho completed his £40million transfer to Chelsea on August 30 last year‚ having been consigned to a 'bomb squad' under former Man United head coach Ruben Amorim. Amorim had told Garnacho to 'pray' to find a new club after the 21-year-old had criticised the decision to start him on the bench for the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.

Even more importantly‚ it should restore a little of Villa's fraying self-belief as they prepare to meet Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday‚ as both clubs tussle for a top-five finish in the Premier League and a place in next season's Champions League.
